Series: God and Culture Series: Reel Faith
Here is the audio to our Sunday morning message, delivered by Mike O'Shea. What matters more: the process or the outcome? As a culture we are outcome driven. We count results and we rarely consider the means and the process in relation to the results. Today's message shows us the reason and the heart of God in relation to the process of life. Oswald Chambers once wrote: What we see as the process, God sees as the goal itself. As we continue in our series, God and Culture, this message looks at the movie -- The Karate Kid.

Series: The Gospel and The Church
Here is the audio from our Sunday service, delivered by Mike O'Shea. The lack of transformation and power in the lives of people in the modern church simply does not square with the God that is presented in the Bible. The Bible is full of stories of radical transformation and power. In our series on The Gospel and The Church, Mike delivers a message on how we can be transformed through the living and active power of God. This message challenges us to be honest, to commit to community, and to be risk-takers.

The Parables of Jesus
Submitted by Ryan on February 1, 2009 - 1:48pm.Sermon Date: February 1st, 2009
Series: The Gospel of Luke
"Jesus Christ is personified wisdom." People look to many things for wisdom and within time discover that the so-called wisdom proves to be folly. Today's message is a great introduction to the parables of Jesus and to the wisdom of not only His teaching, but of His life. The power of this parable is that we don't "work real hard" to try and live out its teaching, but we rejoice in who Christ is on our behalf!
